Major revamp
complete
McDonalds Rolleston
is excited to announce
its major revamp
is complete. Not
only has the locally
owned and operated
store doubled in size
but it has also been
fitted out with the
latest technology
including nine new
self-service kiosks.
The exterior and
entrance to the
building has a brand
new modern look
and the carpark
has expanded
too, with larger
parking spaces for
campervans.
There’s also an
exciting new, bright
and colourful, children’s play area with frames
for climbing, seating for eating, a kiosk to
order food and, coming soon, a big activity
table. The kiosk allows parents to have their
food order delivered to their table.
Owner Dave Whalley
says he wanted to
create a statement
playground and
hopes it will attract
more local families
and parent groups
to come along and
enjoy it with their
children.
Customers can
stop awhile and
enjoy a relaxed meal from the traditional
McDonalds’ menu or select from a range
of cabinet food and barista coffee from
the café.
McDonalds Rolleston employs over 100 local
staff and has 15 managers. Dave says the
business has grown as the community has
grown. “We’re proud to be locally owned and
locally focused, we enjoy giving back to the
community by supporting local groups and
sports clubs.”
Dave also supports Ronald McDonald House
Charity, which helps families and children with
illnesses, and proudly showcases the charity’s
timeline and information in-store.
