car and heading out to see the lights! I remember many years
growing up as a kid, driving through neighborhoods with my
parents and siblings to see which house had the best lights. Botanical
Gardens turns their entire garden into a huge light show!
Displaying the best collection of lights that the city of Norfolk has
to offer! Some people travel from other places to check out this
impressive collection of lights and you should too!

A new style of the brewery archetype:
Rooted in the soil of Virginia Beach, at Back Bay’s
Farmhouse Brewing Co. they are dedicated to using
the highest quality ingredients to produce the freshest beer
and cider. Farmhouse is aiming to redefine the meaning
of “brewery,” with a single goal in mind: to put out the best
product possible. I have gone to a lot of breweries, but I
have never been to one that makes their beer, wine, and
cider! They also offer brewery tours and tours of their garden,
where they grow their hops on site! Farmhouse will
also do classes to anyone that’s interested in growing their
hops and making their beer! This is the first brewery that I
have visited that I visited that offers all of these things. This
is absolutely a unique experience that you cannot miss if
you are in the area!
