Let me start by wishing you all a very Happy and
Prosperous New Year. I’m certain that one or two
of you decided to tie the knot! In this issue we have
put together a few ideas, with the help of a few local
businesses, to help you along the way.
Children’s Christmas Drawing Competition
I was quite sad to see the pictures taken down from
our exhibition in Stony Stratford Library. What a
fantastic array of talented young people there is out
there! It’s not all over yet though, as our four winners
are now our official ‘Artists in Residence’ for the year.
This means that we’ll be sharing one or two pictures
from them. If you’d like to read a little more about our
artists please turn to page 24.
Artists in Bloom
Last year we ran our first art competition for adults
and after a lot of thought and a little pressure from
one or two people we have decided to do it again.
The competition will be open to anyone aged 16 and
over. The theme will be ‘my local area’ and we will
once again link up with the In Bloom teams. For full
details turn to page 28.
