Arai have released their new 2019 paintjobs<br />
for some of their leading helmet models as<br />
well as few other novelties for the refreshed<br />
catalogue with products expecting to hit<br />
dealerships in the spring. The very capable<br />
MX-V off-road lid gets a cool reworking (the<br />
Barcia-11 rep is special) and the RX-7V has<br />
also been touched up in white, matt and yellow<br />
schemes. Take some time to look at the<br />

the work and construction of the helmet.<br />
Admittedly it is tricky to see what Arai are<br />
doing to combat rotational acceleration and<br />
concussion limits compared to other brands<br />
but it is hard to argue against the other<br />
aspects of their helmet construction. Each<br />
Arai lid comes with the same criteria towards<br />
quality, namely: five control checks, they are<br />
still handmade, built for all-day comfort with<br />
an organic shape, smooth shape, hard shell<br />
and soft inner shell and a five year limited<br />
