Two popular musical groups will perform at the Music Pier this

The Hobo Band appears Friday evening, 8 p.m. for another of its
famous madcap .performances. The' group has entertained
throughout, the world and won many awards. Admission is $1. '.
The Franklinville Quartet Club, a group that specializes in"
German song, will perform for the first lime at the Music Pier,
• Saturday, 8 p.m. Organized in 1900, the group will be conducted by
Roland Bonasch. . . , .

"The Affluent Society" and
other books. Dr. Galbraith. was
an economic advjsor to the
Kennedy Administration and
later ambassador to India.
The. course, which carries
three college credits, traces the
development of economic ideas
from the 18th century to the
present. It is being offered in
southern New Jersey by ACC in
conjunction with Glassboro
State College (GSC).
Persons enrolling in the
course will watch 13 hour-long
television programs and attend
six on-campus sessions at ACC
or GSC. Each telecast will
include a ten-minute critique by
GSC Prof. Benjamin Hitchner.
The textbook and other
readings for the course are
available at the ACC and GSC
campus bookstores.
The same installments of the
series will be broadcast twice
each week by New Jersey
Public Television (Channels 23,
SO, 52, and 58) - Thursdays at
noon, beginning September 22,
and Sundays at 6< p.m.,
beginning September 25. The
programs also will be broadcast
by WHYY (Channel 12).
Philadelphia's public television
station.
The on-campus sessions of'
the course will be held at ACC
on Fridays - September 16 and
23, October 14 and 28,
November 20, and December 9.
The course also will include a
"take-home" examination.
