Welcome to the <strong>2019</strong> <strong>Vancouver</strong> International <strong>Boat</strong> <strong>Show</strong> and another<br />
great season of boating!<br />
We are extremely pleased that the <strong>Show</strong> has returned to its traditional<br />
first date in February. It is a great time of the year to start thinking about<br />
boating and we plan to keep the <strong>Show</strong> on this date in future.<br />
There is always so much to see, experience and learn at the <strong>Boat</strong><br />
<strong>Show</strong>. The event continues to grow with our new outside pavilion at<br />
the main entrance and we are very pleased to host the second annual<br />
Women’s Day on Saturday, February 9th.<br />
There are over 100 seminars where you can get informed and<br />
inspired on almost anything to do with boating. Our seminars cater to<br />
every level of experience, so we encourage you to check out the schedule<br />
and plan ahead! And, if you’re interested in learning more about how to<br />
maintain your boat and equipment on your own, check out the DIY Garage<br />
where industry technicians are on hand to show you how.<br />
Our <strong>Show</strong> is a success thanks to the expertise and professionalism of<br />
our exhibitors who will have the latest boats, accessories and technology<br />
for you to discover – they are also happy to answer questions and share<br />
their expertise. Granville Island is a quick complimentary shuttle ride or<br />
water taxi away and is the largest floating show on the West Coast. There,<br />
you can explore a variety of sail and power boats and enjoy the charming<br />
marine atmosphere that the Island offers.<br />
The <strong>Boat</strong>ing BC team will be available in booth #120. We are your<br />
resource for anything related to the <strong>Show</strong> or boating in BC. Stop by if you<br />
have a question and we’ll find you the answer - or just stop by to say hello.<br />
We love hearing stories from boaters who enjoy being on the water as<br />
much as we do and learning about the destinations they love to explore. It<br />
doesn’t matter if you’re a power boater, sailor, paddler or any other type of<br />
boater – one thing we all know for certain is that… BC is Better on a <strong>Boat</strong>!<br />
