We’re thankful every day that we get to do something that helps bring<br />
happiness to so many people. To be able to work on Western Canada’s<br />
Largest <strong>Boat</strong> <strong>Show</strong>, is something we’re passionate about and proud of.<br />
For 57 years, the <strong>Vancouver</strong> International <strong>Boat</strong> <strong>Show</strong> has helped bring the<br />
boating lifestyle to millions of people who live or boat in British Columbia.<br />
12.4 million people participate in some type of boating in Canada each<br />
year – that’s 43% of our country! Generations of Canadians know that<br />
Life is so much Better with a <strong>Boat</strong>! And that sentiment is understood in<br />
BC more than anywhere else in Canada.<br />
Time on the water allows us to escape the grind of the work week,<br />
and seize the opportunity to regroup and re-energize. It’s a time to<br />
disconnect from the connected-world we live in, so we can reconnect<br />
with family and friends.<br />
Whether it’s the beauty of our waterways or the feelings experienced<br />
while out on the water, we have no doubt that the boating lifestyle has a<br />
positive role in our well being – physically and mentally. And with more<br />
than 27,000 kilometers of coastline, and thousands of lakes and rivers<br />
throughout the province, there’s no better way to enjoy the full splendour<br />
of BC’s natural beauty than by seeing it from the water.<br />
We want more people to know what we know – getting out on the water is<br />
easy and affordable. <strong>Boat</strong>ing is open to everyone and the memories made<br />
with family and friends last forever. If you aren’t a boater yet, it will be one<br />
of the best decisions of your life.<br />
We take our role within the industry seriously. We continually strive to<br />
deliver the premiere event that provides everything you need to maximize<br />
your precious free time. We’re as equally focused on welcoming<br />
returning boaters each year, as we are the 30 percent of first-time<br />
attendees who annually look to the <strong>Vancouver</strong> International <strong>Boat</strong> <strong>Show</strong><br />
to help them get started.<br />
