WE PROFILE a good bloke on pages 16,17
and 18 today,
Simon Moore is a strong opponent of
the planned Fulton Hogan quarry near
Weedons, and has no problem going public
about that. The louder his drum beats, the
better it will be for those trying to stop the quarry.
And in Simon, Fulton Hogan has not only a vocal opponent
but a skilled one as well. Simon’s background is in upholding
the law and bringing people to justice.
He was a detective sergeant in the police and worked on high
profile investigations like the Kirsty Bentley and Scott Watson
cases.
He has also been a publican – a job that also requires a fair
amount of nous and psychology.
Should be an interesting battle.
– Barry Clarke.
