Soccer League for kindergarten [age<br />

5] through sixth-grade boys and girls.<br />

Upward Soccer teaches basic skills but<br />

is played on a smaller field with fewer<br />

players allowing more touches on the<br />

ball. Games are on eight consecutive<br />

Saturdays, beginning March 23. Early<br />

registration through March 1. Evaluations<br />

Department’s 10th Annual Washers<br />

Tournament is at noon on Saturday,<br />

March 2 at the National Horseshoe<br />

Pitchers Association Hall of Fame at<br />

Quail Ridge Park in Wentzville. Players<br />

at least 16 years of age will have<br />

a chance to test their skills against the<br />

area’s best players as teams compete for<br />

cash prizes. The event is co-sponsored<br />

by the Quail Ridge Horseshoe Club.<br />
