INGREDIENTS<br />
2 cups white flour<br />
1 tsp. salt<br />
1 tsp. baking soda<br />
1 cup shortening<br />
1 tbsp. vanilla<br />
2 large eggs<br />
1 cup white sugar<br />
1 cup dark brown sugar<br />
1¾ cup dark chocolate chips<br />
DIRECTIONS<br />
Preheat oven to 375°. Combine<br />
the flour, salt and baking soda in<br />
a small bowl. Set aside.<br />

Combine remaining ingredients<br />
except chocolate chips in a<br />
bowl. Using a hand mixer, blend<br />
together. Add flour mixture a<br />
little at a time and incorporate<br />
with a spoon, stirring by hand<br />
until incorporated. Stir in dark<br />
chocolate chips. Spoon out and<br />
bake for 9-10 minutes. Serve hot.<br />
