GLASGOW WINNER: FIONA BIBBY FROM THE TRAVEL ARCHITECT
Selling Travel was joined by
VisitGuernsey and leading tour
operators Airways Holidays, Premier
Holidays and Prestige Holidays,
who were on hand to answer trade
questions about the island and offer
three agents a chance to visit
Guernsey themselves.
Speaking at the Leeds event, Michelle
Harriman from Worldchoice said:
“Guernsey is proving increasingly
popular with clients of mine, I actually
had two recent enquiries within two
days and sold a two-week holiday
costing £3,169 just the other day! I find
Guernsey a good recommendation for
clients interested in history or walking.”
Wendy Pedder, VisitGuernsey, added:
“It was great to see so many agents at
our events. The informal format gave
us the chance to answer the agents’
questions and get a real conversation
going about our destination.”
