rock, and more at Mission Plaza<br />

in downtown San Luis Obispo<br />

every Friday <strong>Jun</strong>e 14th through<br />

September 13th from 5:00-8:00 p.m.<br />

Local vendors offer food and beverages<br />

for concertgoers. Be sure to bring<br />

your own reusable cup or purchase a<br />

commemorative Concerts in the Plaza<br />

tumbler. Non-alcoholic beverages are<br />

provided, as well. No outside alcoholic<br />

beverages or pets are allowed and this is<br />

a non-smoking event. All concerts are<br />

free to the public.<br />

LIVE OAK MUSIC FESTIVAL<br />

Live Oak Music Festival is held every <strong>Jun</strong>e to benefit KCBX Public Radio and features musicians<br />

performing a variety of genres, including Afrobeat, soul, folk, gospel, roots rock, Americana, and<br />

more. The Live Oak Music Festival draws music aficionados of all ages to experience live concerts<br />

in a beautiful setting, with the county’s iconic volcanic peaks, the Morros, as the backdrop. In<br />

addition to music, the festival offers a way to kick off summer, with local food, wine, and beer for<br />

adults and plenty of games, activities, and talent shows for children and teens.<br />

SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL<br />

The Filipponi Ranch is once again hosting<br />

the Central Coast Shakespeare Festival<br />

with live music performed before each<br />

Friday night production. Pack a picnic or<br />

purchase delicious fare on-site and bring<br />

low-back chairs. Wine will be available for<br />

sale by the glass and bottle.<br />

Since 1946, Blue’s Baseball<br />

has been a San Luis Obispo<br />

tradition. This family-friendly<br />

setting offers plenty of games and<br />

activities for the kids, as well as a<br />

concession stand and beer truck.<br />

The fireworks show will begin<br />

immediately following the game.<br />
