Y1 and 2 doing the right thing<br />
In yet another example of our children wanting<br />
to do the right thing to help others, <strong>Year</strong> 1 and<br />
2 . felt so strongly about the plight of the Black<br />
Rhino in Africa they decided to raise some<br />
money to support the conservation project<br />
to protect them. <strong>The</strong> 2 classes chose to hold a<br />
sponsored wheels event. In total we raised over<br />
£400!<br />
<strong>The</strong> Girls Football Team<br />
Rather than use the school’s money, members<br />
of the girls’ football team took part in a sponsored<br />
car wash on Thursday to raise funds for<br />
new equipment to begin our new season with.<br />
Several members of staff donated generously<br />
to have these expert car-washers display their<br />
skills with a sponge and pressure washer.
