Member Perspective: Porsche Experience Center Atlanta<br />

Hello everyone! I am a new member and first-time<br />

Porsche owner. My wife and I ordered our <strong>2019</strong> Macan<br />

S through Porsche Grapevine and took delivery on<br />

June 27, <strong>2019</strong> at PEC Atlanta. From the first time I<br />

stepped into the dealer back in December just to “look<br />

around,” to the extended alone test drive with my wife<br />

to familiarize ourselves with the Macan, to the ordering<br />

and financial process, PEC delivery, and even the second<br />

delivery back In Grapevine, the whole process has been<br />

surreal for us and each step of the way has exceeded our<br />

expectations by a long shot.<br />

Now, a little bit about us. I am a long-time auto and<br />

motorsport enthusiast. I have rubbed off on my wife after<br />

all this time, and although she does have some interest,<br />

she is not completely infatuated by it. Therefore, when<br />

I insisted that we opt for the PEC Delivery, she was a<br />

bit skeptical, but eventually agreed to it, just so she<br />

wouldn’t have to hear me whine anymore.<br />

Now this is where it gets interesting. I already know<br />

coming in that am going to have a good time during the<br />

whole delivery day regardless. What we didn’t expect<br />

was how my wife<br />

truly enjoyed herself<br />

throughout the<br />

delivery. The whole<br />

experience was top<br />

notch! Of course, PEC<br />

Atlanta is catered to<br />

the auto enthusiast,<br />

but it shows that<br />

Porsche also did their<br />

homework on how to<br />

make sure the delivery<br />

day is positively<br />

memorable, and a<br />

once-in-a-lifetime<br />

experience for the<br />

non-enthusiast.<br />

Presentation is the<br />

key here, not just for<br />

the actual vehicle delivery itself, but the way they set up<br />

your whole day there.<br />

From the first welcome, a quick tour of the building<br />

and venue, the unveiling of the vehicle itself, the<br />

90-minute Driving Experience with a more-than-capable<br />

and patient coach, the excellent fine dining lunch, and<br />

last but not least, the gift bag with several items of<br />

Porsche gear, accessories, and snacks. My wife was<br />

happy and hooked! And that, on top of the flawless day<br />

that we had, made it into an experience both of us will<br />

remember for the rest of our lives.<br />
