The brand new tomato, Double Truss<br />

Cherry, delivers a bountiful harvest of up to<br />

3-4 kg of fruit for you to enjoy. Just follow<br />

these simple steps below.<br />

What you will need<br />

•1 x Tomato Double Truss Cherry seedling,<br />

available in the Floriana Fresh Start range<br />

•Spade or trowel<br />

•Good quality liquid fertiliser<br />

•1 x 2 metre tomato stake<br />

•Soft plant ties<br />

What to do<br />

•Choose a spot in your veggie patch<br />

with nutrient rich soil, and that receives<br />

six hours of full sun per day.<br />

•Insert the stake securely into the soil.<br />

•Dig in the soil to a depth of 15cm.<br />

Carefully remove the seedling from<br />

the punnet and plant into the prepared<br />

hole, covering roots.<br />

•Use the soft plant ties to loosely tie<br />

the new seedling to the stake – you will<br />

need to keep doing this as your little<br />

seedling grows.<br />

•Water immediately with liquid fertiliser<br />

at the recommended ratio.<br />

•In eight to eleven weeks you will start<br />

to harvest and enjoy your Double<br />

Truss tomatoes!<br />

Tomato growing tips<br />

•Harvest ripe tomatoes to promote<br />

better growth and further ripening<br />

down the truss.<br />

•Water your tomatoes regularly and<br />

deeply at the base of the plant, and in<br />

the morning rather than the evening.<br />
