ROTARY IN FESTIVAL MODE<br />

“Everything good, everything magical, happens between the months of June and August”<br />
It is fanciful to imagine that American<br />
author Jenny Han had the <strong>Uckfield</strong><br />
Festival in mind when she wrote the<br />
above, but, if she had, it would have<br />
been most apt.<br />
<strong>Uckfield</strong> Rotary Club will be<br />
contributing to the good and the magic<br />
of this wonderful community event.<br />
Do come and visit our stand at ‘The<br />
Big Day’, where you will be able to<br />
participate in a game of chance, or<br />
purchase a ticket in our annual draw.<br />
We will also have on display a kit car<br />
which will be participating in the<br />
<strong>Uckfield</strong> Grand Prix. The Club, with<br />
<strong>Uckfield</strong> College, organises the Grand<br />
Prix held in TR Fastenings Car Park on<br />
Sunday 14th <strong>July</strong>.<br />
Once again we<br />
will be sponsoring<br />
this event<br />
and providing<br />
refreshments and<br />
ice creams. On<br />
Saturday 13th <strong>July</strong><br />
we will be participating in another<br />
Festival event, namely the Hempstead<br />
Meadows Nature Reserve Open Day<br />
where we will be assisting the Reserve<br />
Ranger who will be leading guided<br />
walks.<br />
Do come and join us and say hello at<br />
the above events. Help us to support<br />
our community and join in the magic.<br />
