ST PHILIPS SCHOOL SPORTS DAY<br />

Children and families at St Philip's Catholic<br />

primary School enjoyed their sports day<br />

on Monday. The weather was perfect and a<br />

great time was had by all. The green team<br />

won the most points - the first time they have<br />

come first for nearly 20 years! Mrs Sanchez,<br />

headteacher, said, "It's been a fantastic<br />

day, the children have all been great sports<br />

and everyone had lots of fun."<br />

UCKFIELD CARE & SUPPORT EXPO<br />

The Care EXPO was hosted by the <strong>Uckfield</strong><br />

Dementia Forum, and sponsored by Always<br />

Accounting and CPJ Field. Sussex Support<br />

Services came up with the idea as part of<br />

National Dementia Action Week to enable<br />

local providers to showcase the range of<br />

products and services available within<br />

<strong>Uckfield</strong> and the surrounding area.<br />

UCKFIELD ART GROUP EXHIBITION<br />

<strong>Uckfield</strong> Art Group's Summer Show welcomed<br />

more than 150 visitors on 1 June at the<br />

Luxford Centre. The theme area was water,<br />

so many ocean, river and water animals were<br />

depicted.<br />

CHAIRMAN MATCH<br />

At Buxted Park Bowls Club annual Captain v<br />

Chairman’s match, 32 players enjoyed a game<br />

of bowls with the Captain's team - led by Sue<br />

Hanlon - winning the Cup with 81 shots, to<br />

the Chairman Neal Parrington teams 75<br />

shots over 21 ends.<br />
