ST PHILIPS SCHOOL SPORTS DAY
Children and families at St Philip's Catholic
primary School enjoyed their sports day
on Monday. The weather was perfect and a
great time was had by all. The green team
won the most points - the first time they have
come first for nearly 20 years! Mrs Sanchez,
headteacher, said, "It's been a fantastic
day, the children have all been great sports
and everyone had lots of fun."

UCKFIELD CARE & SUPPORT EXPO
The Care EXPO was hosted by the Uckfield
Dementia Forum, and sponsored by Always
Accounting and CPJ Field. Sussex Support
Services came up with the idea as part of
National Dementia Action Week to enable
local providers to showcase the range of
products and services available within
Uckfield and the surrounding area.

Uckfield Art Group's Summer Show welcomed
more than 150 visitors on 1 June at the
Luxford Centre. The theme area was water,
so many ocean, river and water animals were
depicted.

CHAIRMAN MATCH
At Buxted Park Bowls Club annual Captain v
Chairman’s match, 32 players enjoyed a game
of bowls with the Captain's team - led by Sue
Hanlon - winning the Cup with 81 shots, to
the Chairman Neal Parrington teams 75
shots over 21 ends.
