NEW SEASON BECKONS FOR<br />
AFC UCKFIELD TOWN<br />
After their momentous season in 2018-20<strong>19</strong>, AFC <strong>Uckfield</strong> Town are back in<br />
pre-season training ahead of their new campaign in the Premier Division of the<br />
Southern Combination League, which gets underway next month.<br />
<strong>Uckfield</strong> begin their programme of<br />
pre-season friendlies with a visit to<br />
Southwick on 13 <strong>July</strong>, before they<br />
renew acquaintances on 16 <strong>July</strong> with<br />
AFC Croydon Athletic, with whom<br />
<strong>Uckfield</strong> played out two memorable cup<br />
games last season. Another attractive<br />
pre-season highlight is on 25 <strong>July</strong>,<br />
when <strong>Uckfield</strong> welcome local rivals<br />
Crowborough to the Oaks.<br />

<strong>Uckfield</strong> Anderida will be hoping for a<br />
strong second half to the season, after<br />
a poor run of form saw them slip to the<br />
bottom of the Division Seven East table<br />
in the Sussex Cricket League. Skipper<br />
Dave Tungate has been the standout<br />
performer for <strong>Uckfield</strong> in the first half<br />
of the season, making 82 in an agonising<br />
