This rings true for many things that move on a moral scale of gray levels. But there are many things not on that scale, things that are black and white like racism and the KKK do not have any gray areas. Right now, all fingers point to Trump as the real problem when he riles up his base to hate filled levels. When his base still believe they voted in hate because the liberals pushed to far.
