KURC ScotRocks Charity Disco!<br />
Boogie the night away to music from<br />
your favourite Scottish rock stars and<br />
bands, from The Proclaimers to Primal<br />

The event, hosted by Kilmacolm<br />
Unofficial Running Club, will take place<br />
on 9th November at the Kidston Hall,<br />
Kilmacolm. BYO drinks. Tickets cost<br />
£10 – this includes a delicious hot<br />
buffet. Tickets can be bought from<br />
any KURC member or The Cross Cafe<br />
in Kilmacolm. There are many fantastic<br />
prizes to be won, including a £300 voucher for teeth whitening<br />
from En Visage Dental Surgery, Kilmacolm and specially selected<br />
items from McNeil’s Jewellers, Greenock. This year, all profits will<br />
go to Compassionate Inverclyde.<br />

Paisley & District U3A Meetings<br />
This self help education organisation for older people meets on the<br />
first Thursday of the month in the Salvation Army Hall, Mill Street,<br />
Paisley. Tea and coffee served from 1.30pm with presentations<br />
beginning at 2.15pm.<br />

Womens Aid - New Pyjamas for<br />
Christmas<br />
We are collecting in new pyjamas for Christmas Eve for the women<br />
and children staying in the Renfrewshire Womens Aid refuge. If<br />
you would like to donate a new pair of pyjamas, then they can<br />
be handed to a member of staff in the CO-OP stores in Houston,<br />
Bridge of Weir and Kilbarchan.<br />
We would love the following sizes – Girls Age 0-12 Teenage Girls<br />
Womens Sizes S,M,L,XL Boys Age 0-12 Teenage Boys<br />
They will be collected from the CO-OP by Jenny Cowan who runs<br />
the Renfrewshire Food Bank Donation Bins in the above CO-OP<br />
stores. Last date for donations – Saturday 30th November Jenny<br />
