of the SPAR
WOMEN’S
CHALLENGE
Are you radiant, racy and ready for fun? Then
you could be exactly who we’re looking for.
SPAR and Get It are searching for The Face of the SPAR Women’s
Challenge 2019. Someone who’s an enthusiastic runner ... who’s keen
to enter the race in October ... and who wants to be queen for the day
(don’t we all?). Our winner will not only be featured in the local Get It
magazine (who knows ... you may just make cover girl) but will also
receive VIP treatment on the day of the race. This year, four runners-up
will also be in line for VIP treatment. Love it!

Rules
The winner and four runners-up will have to
participate in the SPAR Women’s Challenge at
the Marks Park Sports Club in Joburg on Sunday,
October 6 and must complete the 5km race,
although they’re welcome to enter the 10km race if
preferred. They must be available to attend a media
launch on August 22 in Fourways and be prepared
to be photographed by Get It, and featured in print
and online in Get It and Caxton publications. They
must also be available for a photo shoot at Get It
magazine at a time that suits both parties.
How to enter
Simply email two photos of yourself – one head and
shoulders, one full length – to faceofspar@caxton.
co.za. Include your name, age, the area in which
you live, and a 100 word motivational letter about
why you deserve to be our Face of SPAR Women’s
Challenge 2019. Entries close August 1.
What’s up for grabs
The winner:
• A R5000 SPAR shopping voucher
• A pair of running shoes by Asics
• SPAR Women’s Challenge T-shirts to wear in the race for
her and her partner
• A Get It tog bag, with a race towel, SPAR toiletries and a
selection of cosmetics
• The winner will styled by a Get It stylist and will receive
a photo shoot by a professional photographer with hair
by a professional team and make-up done by Gosh
• She’ll win a VIP package, with free race entry for herself
and a partner or friend
• She’ll appear in her local Get It magazine
and newspaper
The runners-up:
