THE University of Valencia
has improved its position
in the annual Best Global
Universities Guide which
was published last week.
It is now ranked 237 in
the world (up 24 places), 108
in Europe (+10) and fifth in
Spain (no change).

THE Marina Alta Arts Society
is coming to the end
of their third season and is
already looking ahead to
2020 and the prospect of
another great year for local
art and culture lovers.

with Denia ferry magnate Adolfo
Utor making the top 100 for the
first time.
He is president of Balearia which
runs ferries and container boats to
the Balearic Islands and also the
Canaries as well as the enclaves of
DENIA Town Council have
installed benches to prevent
kids playing football
and other ball games in
