Orange alert “ignored”
as surfers saved

Armed robbers were both kids
JAVEA Guardia Civil have
arrested two minors in
connection with an armed
robbery in Gata de Gorgos,
an offence that also
involved an assault.
The crime took place last
month at a property in the
Marina Alta town when the
pair entered the house and
threatened the occupier with
a pistol. A fight ensued and
