Soldier stabbing and suicide<br />
A 25-year-old woman remains<br />
in hospital after<br />
being stabbed by her partner,<br />
a soldier, who killed<br />
himself shortly after the<br />
incident.<br />
The incident happened<br />
earlier this week in Zaragoza<br />
when neighbours called<br />
the police after hearing<br />
what sounded like a violent<br />
by Simon Russell<br />
fight.<br />
They went to the address<br />
and found the injured<br />
woman who was taken to<br />
the city’s Miguel Servet<br />
Hospital.<br />
The police then went to<br />
look for the aggressor and<br />
were alerted to another incident<br />
where a man was on top<br />
of a crane.<br />
He threw himself off, dying<br />
immediately, and was<br />
later confirmed as the soldier<br />
that the police had been<br />
looking for in connection<br />
with the stabbing.<br />
The female victim’s injuries<br />
are said to be serious<br />
but not life threatening.<br />
