Attention Senior Citizens
The Homestead Exemption
If you own and occupy your home and will be 65 years of age any time
during the year, you must file an application with the P.V.A. in order to be
eligible for this exemption. If you are already receiving the Homestead
Exemption, it will be automatically deducted from your tax bill and it will
not be necessary for you to fill out an additional application.
Attention Disabled Persons
The Homestead Exemption also applies to anyone who is totally disabled.
In order to qualify, you must receive disability payments for the entire
calendar year and live on the property.
