Breakbulk Middle East 2020 reveals ‘Breakbulk AR’
The upcoming 5th edition of Breakbulk Middle East
(BBME), the largest breakbulk and project cargo event
in the GCC, will unveil ‘Breakbulk AR,’ an Augmented Reality
initiative which enables exhibitors with the ability
to futuristically showcase the innovative capabilities of
their companies. Held under the patronage of His Excellency
Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, the UAE Minister
of Infrastructure Development and the Chairman of the
Federal Transport Authority for Land and Maritime, the
event which is set to take place from the 25th to the
26th of Feburary, will strongly emphasize the effective
use of technology to advance the sector forward. The
implementation of Augmented Reality is one of many
technology-inducing initiatives that reinforces BBME’s
industry advancing aspirations.

المشاركين من عرض منتجاتهم والمبادرات
االبتكار ية لشركاتهم يف المستقبل
باستخدام تقنيات الواقع االفتراضي
المدمج.‏ هذا الحدث الذي يقام تحت رعاية
معايل الدكتور عبدهللا بلحيف النعيمي،‏
وزير تطوير البنية التحتية لدولة اإلمارات
ورئيس الهيئة االتحادية للمواصالت البرية
والبحرية،‏ والذي من المقرر عقده يف الفترة
من 25 إىل 26 فبراير 2020، سيؤكد بشدة
على االستخدام الفعال للتكنولوجيا لدفع
القطاع البحري إىل األمام،‏ ويعد تطبيق
تقنية الواقع المدمج واحداً‏ من العديد
من المبادرات التي تحفز تبني الصناعة
البحرية للتكنولوجيا لتحقيق تطلعاتها.‏
Gulf Nav records 19%
revenue growth in the first 9
months of 2019
Gulf Navigation Holding PJSC (GNH), the Dubai Financial
Market listed maritime and shipping company, has announced
a 19% operating revenue growth through the first
three quarters of 2019, compared to the same period last
year; the company recorded an operating revenue of AED
130 million compared to AED109 million in the same period
of 2018. GNH has now managed to secure spot and longterm
charters for all 9 of its vessels, and is looking into outsourcing
its ship management function to optimize its cost
structure and enhance governance.
الخليج للمالحة تسجل نمواً‏ بنسبة
%19 في األشهر التسعة األولى
من عام 2019
أعلنت شركة الخليج للمالحة القابضة،‏ شركة الشحن البحري
المدرجة يف سوق ديب المايل،‏ عن نمو إيراداتها التشغيلية بنسبة %19
خالل األرباع الثالثة األوىل من عام 2019، مقارنة بالفترة نفسها من
العام الماضي،‏ وسجلت الشركة إيرادات تشغيل قدرها 130 مليون
درهم مقارنة ب 109 مليون درهم يف نفس الفترة من عام 2018. هذا
وتمكنت الشركة من تأمين عقود فورية وطويلة األجل لجميع سفنها
التسع،‏ وتتطلع إىل االستعانة بموردين خارجيين إلدارة السفن الخاصة
بها تحسيناً‏ لهيكل التكاليف وتعزيزاً‏ للحوكمة.‏
