Mubadala invests $50 mln in U.S. LNG firm NextDecade
Abu Dhabi’s Mubadala Investment Company has agreed to purchase
US$50 million of NextDecade’s common stock in a private placement
at a price of $6.27 per share. NextDecade focuses on LNG export projects
and associated pipelines in Texas. Mubadala’s investment further
strengthens NextDecade’s capital position as the company continues
to develop its Rio Grande LNG project, the largest liquefied natural gas
export solution linking Permian Basin associated gas to the global LNG
market. As part of its investment in NextDecade, Mubadala will receive
one seat on NextDecade’s board of directors, as well as also have the
right to contribute a certain amount of project-level capital upon the
final investment decision of NextDecade’s Rio Grande LNG project.
مبادلة تستثمر 50 مليون دوالر في شركة ‏"نكست
ديكيد"‏ األمريكية
وافقت شركة مبادلة لالستثمار يف أبوظبي على شراء 50
مليون دوالر أمريكي من األسهم المشتركة لشركة ‏"نيكست
ديكيد"‏ يف اكتتاب خاص بسعر 6.27 دوالر للسهم،‏ وتتخصص
شركة ‏"نيكست ديكيد"‏ يف مشاريع تصدير الغاز الطبيعي المسال
وخطوط األنابيب المرتبطة به يف والية تكساس.‏
ويف إطار التطوير،‏ تسعى مبادلة إىل تعزيز مكانة استثمار
رأس مالها لتطوير مشروع ‏"ريو جراند"‏ للغاز الطبيعي المسال،‏
والذي يعتبر من أهم منصات تصدير الغاز الطبيعي المسال
لمكانتها الجغرافية الهامة،‏ كونها تربط حوض ‏:بيرمين"‏ بسوق
الغاز الطبيعي المسال العالمي.‏ ومن الجدير ذكره،‏ أن مبادلة
ستحصل على مقعد واحد يف مجلس اإلدارة لشركة ‏"نيكست
ديكيد".‏
اإلمارات تتقدم بملف الترشح ل»تنفيذي«‏ المنظمة
البحرية الدولية
قدمت اإلمارات ملفها إلعادة الترشيح لعضوية الفئة ب يف المجلس
التنفيذي للمنظمة البحرية الدولية،‏ هذا وستجري االنتخابات يف 29
نوفمبر المقبل يف لندن بالمملكة المتحدة،‏ ومما يعزز ترشيح البالد
لوالية ثانية حرصها على لعب دور رائد يف القطاع البحري يف منطقة
الشرق األوسط.‏ وتستقطب دولة اإلمارات حالياً‏ حوايل %35 من إجمايل
االستثمارات البحرية يف المنطقة،‏ وبذلك تكون قد استكملت جميع
المتطلبات الالزمة إلعادة الترشيح.‏ من جهته صرح معايل الدكتور
عبد هللا بن محمد بلحيف النعيمي،‏ وزير تطوير البنية التحتية يف
دولة اإلمارات ورئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة االتحادية للمواصالت البرية
والبحرية،‏ قائالً:‏ ‏"سيتم تقديم هذا الملف خالل االجتماع المقبل يف
لندن،‏ ونحن واثقون من أن فوزنا يف عضوية المكتب التنفيذي للمنظمة
البحرية الدولية سيضيف قيمة إىل الصناعة البحرية العالمية بسبب
‏."مكانة اإلمارات الدولية يف هذا القطاع
UAE files for second term re-nomination to IMO Council
The UAE has submitted its file for re-nomination for Category B
Membership of the International Maritime Organization's Council. Elections
will take place on November 29th, in London, UK, and the country's
nomination for a second term reinforces its keenness to play a
leading role in the Middle East region's maritime sector. The UAE currently
accounts for 35% of total maritime investments in the region,
and it has accordingly completed all necessary requirements needed
for re-nomination. H.E. Dr. Abdullah Bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi,
Minister of Infrastructure Development and Chairman of the Board of
Directors of the Federal Transport Authority - Land and Maritime said,
“This file will be presented during the forthcoming meeting in London
and we are confident that winning Category B membership of the IMO
Council anew will add value to the global maritime industry because of
the UAE's international standing in the industry.”
