Lauderdale News Committee

The Lauderdale News held its AGM in November, and the Committee office bearers remain unchanged -

Lesley J Wilkinson (Chair); Diane Mitchell (Vice Chair); Kate Farnsworth (Treasurer); Alison Macgregor (Editor); Wendy Perry

(Secretary); Committee members - Walter Brotherston; Judi Gunn; Jaqui Miller; Rhona Neil; Jane and Mike O’Neill.

Thanks to all of our committee for their continued support.

Annual Report from the Chair -

‘The Lauderdale News has had another busy year made possible by the hard work and enthusiasm of committee members and

distribution team who all give up their free time to ensure the Lauderdale News continues to be a great source of information for

the people of Lauder and surrounding areas.

Due to the advertising revenue from local businesses, the Lauderdale News’ finances are very healthy and as a result we have

managed to donate money and gifts to various community groups and residents in Lauderdale throughout 2019. However we

mustn’t become complacent and we are always on the look out for new (and existing) businesses to advertise in the Newsletter.

On a personal note I am honoured and proud to be laying the wreath on behalf of the Lauderdale News at the War Memorial on

Remembrance Sunday.

Thank you to each and every member of the Committee for your commitment and I think a special mention must go to Alison and

Wendy who keep us right issue after issue!

We are always looking for new volunteers to help our delivery team. Please get in touch if you can help!’
