microbz - keeping you and your
home healthy
Health and wellbeing, whether that is our own or indeed that of the planet on
which we live could not be higher on the agenda for 2020. We thought that now
was the ideal time to showcase a local company with some great products, both
for ourselves and for our homes…we spoke to Sue Allen of Microbz about some
great little bugs!
First of all, the science bit – what are microbes and what
do they do? Microbes, also known as microorganisms, are
fundamental to life. These invisible bacteria are the first form of
life on earth and, over billions of years, they created the essential
conditions, for starters oxygen and carbon, which made human
existence possible. We owe them a lot!
Vital communities of trillions of microbes are everywhere, on
every surface of the earth, and also, as we are discovering more
and more, in our gut microbiome.
But over the last 70 years or so our increased use of chemicals
and antibiotics has tipped the balance of life. Who hasn’t
noticed more and more people being affected by allergies and
autoimmune conditions, and the rise of superbugs? These are
signs that the natural world is out of balance at a microbial level
as well as in the visible environment.
We are what we eat – and our gut health is vital to our overall
health, tell us what Microbz can do to keep us fit to face
2020? Your gut health depends on the diversity of microbes that
make up your gut microbiome. Microbz’ liquid fermented brews
deliver 14 strains of beneficial microbes – billions of good bugs
– to support your gut microbiome to be balanced and healthy.
That’s important because around 80% of your immune cells live
in your gut. And it turns out that 70% of serotonin, the ‘happy
hormone’, is produced in the gut. Just keeping both those in
tiptop balance will help us keep fit to face 2020.
We may well be considering our holidays at this time of the
year – how important is it that we make sure that our tums
are travel ready and what can we do to boost our health and
ensure that we feel our best? We meet unfamiliar microbes
whenever and wherever we travel. Packing a bottle of Bio-Live
will protect you from tummy upsets or any other reaction to
different food or water, by strengthening your immune system.
And we have a travel pack especially for short break carry-ons
As well as your personal health care products you also
have products that are environmentally friendly and highly
effective for our homes, tell us more. I absolutely love our
microbial cleaners – totally 100% natural and non-toxic and
amazingly effective. Microbes absorb organic matter for their
energy and all dirt is organic, whether it is grease or food or
allergens or dust...anything! Spray, wait and wipe and know that
you are coating surfaces with friendly dirt munching microbes.
And feel super-green to know that nothing that goes down your
sink will harm anything anywhere.
