With Global trend predictors Pantone choosing Classic Blue as
their Colour of 2020, follow Salon System nail expert Julie Anne’s
step-by-step using the Gellux gel polish system to keep your nail
art bang on trend.
Prepare the nails and wipe over with the Gellux Prep + Wipe. Apply the
Gellux Fast Bond and let dry for 30 seconds. Then apply the Gellux Cover
Pink Base, and cure for 30 seconds.
On a piece of foil, add four equal sized drops (about 5 pence sized) of Gellux
Secret Service. Then, add a few drops of Gellux Purely White to each Gellux
Secret Service drops. Start with one drop on the first and then adding an
extra drop as you go along until the last drop of Gellux Secret Service has
four drops of Gellux Purely White. Mix each colour to create four different
shades of blue.
Apply Gellux Secret Service to the index and middle fingers. Then using a
clean gel brush, paint the ring and little fingers using the two lightest shades
of blue you have just mixed. Cure for 30 seconds. Repeat this process for
the second coat.
Dip a fine liner brush in the darkest shade of blue previously created
and create a triangle at the tip of the index and middle fingers, cure for
30 seconds.
Step 5
Repeat the previous step using the other shades of blue and leaving
a gap in between each triangle. Be sure to cure after every application.
Apply Gellux Shiny Top Coat, and cure for 60 seconds.
Wipe nails with Gellux Prep&Wipe and apply Gellux Nail & Cuticle Oil.
