We are seeking applicants for the role of paid Financial<br />

Mentor/Budget Advisor and Community Educator.<br />

Applicants must be able to commit to 10 hours per week<br />

(guaranteed while training), with flexibility to increase to<br />

15 hours per week (once certificated) depending on client<br />

demand.<br />

The successful applicant will need to be willing to undergo<br />

and pass the required FinCap/BSNC Financial Mentor and<br />

community education/facilitation training. You will be<br />

required to use your own vehicle for client meetings and<br />

training sessions (mileage will be reimbursed); amobile<br />

phone and alaptop will be provided. AMinistry of Justice<br />

check will be undertaken.<br />

Skills and attributes required are:<br />

•good with your own household budgeting<br />

•good computer skills (Word and Excel)<br />

•ability and confidence to work with clients, and<br />

within ateam environment<br />

•empathy for all social situations<br />

•confidence to facilitate “financial awareness”<br />

workshops for small groups.<br />
