WEARING RED WITH
NEUTRALS AND PASTELS
If there’s a fail-safe method to wear red lipstick,
aside from black and white, it’s the neutrals. Yes,
fawn, light pink, light yellow, light blue, lavender,
grey, cream, coral, and so much more. Red lips with
pastels are such a fun and soft vibe for summer. You
don’t necessarily have to apply a full-on matte red; a
tinge of red would do just as well. Also, if you’re paleskinned
with blonde hair, pastels with red lips may
not be for you.
WEARING RED WITH PRINTS
If you want to be a trendsetter and a statement-maker
at the same time, combine red lips with an animal
print shirt, and plain black pants or red lips with a
black and white polka dot dress. Even red lips with
plaids, stripes, floral prints, and lace are one of the
best ways to wear red lipstick. Pulling off these looks
requires loads of confidence, and there’s no shying
away about it, so consider this before you wear red
lipstick with printed clothes.
