It’s a body of believers doing life to the glory of God. But what does that look like for young women? How can I cultivate a life of mindful worship? That’s what this issue is all about. This year, we’re taking a look at the ELEMENTS of our faith. Every year we choose a theme, and this year we’re really focusing in on what makes up the practical parts of our faith. We’ll be looking at devotions, prayer, worship, serving, witnessing, and edifying. This is our issue focused on worship. Throughout my Christian walk I
have found joy through worshiping.
Knowing that our God is worthy of
our praise and that He deserves our
adoration has been something that
I have loved growing in and finding
different ways that I can worship
Him.
Last semester I took a class that
my school requires of all students
under our Visual and Performing
Arts department. They call it The
Creative Christian. At first I was not
the happiest camper to have to sit
and learn how I can bring God into
my art, because frankly it sounded
cheesy.
I was instead surprised to learn that
it was a critical class that I needed
for my own personal walk. I learned
how many different people worship
and how as an artist (albeit digital),
I can incorporate Christian themes
into what I do.
