It’s a body of believers doing life to the glory of God. But what does that look like for young women? How can I cultivate a life of mindful worship? That’s what this issue is all about. This year, we’re taking a look at the ELEMENTS of our faith. Every year we choose a theme, and this year we’re really focusing in on what makes up the practical parts of our faith. We’ll be looking at devotions, prayer, worship, serving, witnessing, and edifying. This is our issue focused on worship. to be a wife and a mother,
which in my opinion is more
important than anything that I
am doing now!
I know I will probably always
need a space to express myself
creatively, so it is my hope that
Calico and Twine, or whatever
it may turn into, will be
something that can provide for
my family (present or future)
through the hard work of our
hands, all the while valuing the
importance of family and being
at home.

OUTLETS
I have been expressing
my creativity through
photography ever since I was
12 years old, so taking and
editing photos will always be
near and dear to my heart. In
these past few years I have also
gotten more into videography
and posting on my Youtube
channel. I love being able to
tell a story through video in
a way that can't be done with
photographs. I also try to be
intentional about enjoying
activities that don't involve
technology. I love to knit,
sew, decorate, and bake bread
as well!
