Fourth of July Picnic and Lobster Bake<br />
Summertime is THE time for simple pleasures<br />
— like running through sprinklers,<br />
chasing ice cream trucks and, of course,<br />
enjoying fireworks. Especially fireworks<br />
over the ocean! Congress Hall’s lawn is<br />
the base camp for an all-American treat.<br />

Picnic is from 5-9pm, while you’re treated<br />
to fabulous, patriotic music and lots of fun<br />
and games for the kids. There’s also a lobster<br />
bake in the hotel ballroom at 6:30pm.<br />
Later, you’ll see a five-star fireworks show<br />
while savoring ocean breezes. It’s one<br />
giant, delicious slice of classic Americana<br />
at the country’s oldest seaside hotel. Call<br />

Independence Day Celebration<br />
Historic Cold Spring Village, the living<br />
history museum just a short drive from<br />
downtown <strong>Cape</strong> <strong>May</strong>, will host afternoon<br />
concerts, family activities and traditional<br />
fun from 10am-4:30pm. Patriotic<br />
programs, including The Story of Old<br />
Glory and live music, take place both days.<br />
And you might also want to visit the fine<br />
new brewery just next door, located in<br />
a beautifully converted historic barn. For<br />
