A POPULAR Banks Peninsula<br />
park steeped in heritage will host<br />
its annual fair on Sunday.<br />
A Heritage Festival highlight,<br />
the Orton Bradley Park Spring<br />
Fair draws big crowds ready to<br />
sample stalls, soak up sounds,<br />
explore heritage areas, tackle<br />
high ropes or watch vintage<br />
machinery in action.<br />
<strong>The</strong> park is also home to one<br />
of the few operating historic waterwheels<br />
in New Zealand, along<br />
with Canterbury’s oldest stone<br />
structure, a cottage built in 1848.<br />
Visitors can enjoy all the fun<br />
of the fair from 10am, with a $10<br />
entry fee for adults while children<br />
can explore at no cost.<br />

by the Christchurch Guild of<br />
