heart of the media and the<br />
performing arts industries.<br />
Today there are more ways than ever<br />
to bring films or programmes to the<br />
screen, whether it's on TV or a streaming<br />
platform like Netflix or Prime. This means<br />
that there’s more demand than ever for<br />
the huge range of skills needed by the<br />
industry.<br />
These skills go beyond acting and<br />
performing to carpenters who can build<br />
sets, animators and gamers, make up<br />
artists, journalists, lighting technicians and<br />
more.<br />
As a student in Gateshead College’s TV<br />
and Film Academy you’ll have the unique<br />
opportunity to not only develop skills<br />
within your particular vocational area but<br />
you’ll also get the chance to apply these<br />
skills within the context of the TV & film<br />
