In some cases, prolonged physical distancing practices can be difficult to apply for certain
populations, such as very young children, who can hinder strict adherence to a six-foot distance
standard. This will require efforts to reorganize the school day and school operations to maintain
health and safety standards, and that is why all classrooms have been reorganized to accommodate
the appropriate number of students as shown in the image above. Below is a list of measures that
will be taken to ensure that the risk of COVID-19 contagion for our students at EA facilities is
minimal:
REOPENING PLAN | 19
SMALLER CLASSES
EA has small class sizes and
large classrooms. Class sizes of
9-15 students allow for a physical
distancing of 6 feet between
desks. In larger rooms, we can
accommodate more students.
EA has many large classrooms
and additional spaces for
student learning.
SCREENING OR
SCREENING TEST
Upon entering the EA facilities,
all students should undergo this
test to detect a possible health
problem or illness in someone
who has no signs or symptoms
yet. The purpose of this is early
detection; helping to reduce the
risk of contagion to other
students and timely treatment of
the affected student, applying
the protocol for suspected cases
of COVID-19 in the EA facilities.
MASKS
Students must arrive at school
wearing their mask and they
must wear it at all times on
campus. Parents must make
sure their children bring extra
masks each day. The school will
not provide masks for students
and any student without a mask
will not be allowed to attend
school that day.
