Başaran Halı in the new year<br />
Başaran Halı, leaving 35 years behind in the sector,<br />
will make new investments in 2021. Başaran Halı<br />
General Manager İbrahim Dayıoğlu, saying they<br />
overcome the effects of the difficulties that come<br />
with <strong>2020</strong>, stated that they also plan to start online<br />
sales next year.<br />
First of all, can we ask you about Başaran Halı and<br />
its brands?<br />
Our brand’s story started with Başaran Tuhafiye<br />
in the 1970s. Then in 1985 we started to produce<br />
carpet. We have completed our 35th year in the<br />
sector. We sell with our abroad sales and marketing<br />
company Premier, and Prestige in domestic sales<br />
and marketing. Our company can produce around 5<br />
million square meters of carpet annually by using<br />
the latest technologies in its production lines. We<br />
also produce PP yarn by ourselves.<br />
How did the recent pandemic process affect the<br />
domestic market and exports?<br />
The pandemic process in early <strong>2020</strong> almost stopped<br />
the production in April and May. But after June,<br />
more hopeful developments took place. Later, with<br />
the intense demands from abroad triggered production.<br />
Currently, there is a situation above the expectations<br />
for <strong>2020</strong>. Domestic markets also partially<br />
took their share of this.<br />
