■ Overview<br />

SINAMICS G120X I/O Extension Module<br />

The SINAMICS G120X I/O Extension Module increases the number<br />

of I/O terminals of the converter and therefore allows for<br />

additional converter <strong>control</strong> functionalities. It also allows for the<br />

connection to an operator panel or the SINAMICS G120 Smart<br />

Access.<br />

The optional SINAMICS G120X I/O Extension Module has 2 DI,<br />

2 AO, 4 DO (relay), and up to 2 Pt1000/Ni1000 temperature<br />

sensors can be directly connected.<br />

Notes:<br />

The SINAMICS G120X I/O Extension Module is only supported<br />

for SINAMICS G120X converters with FS codes 02 02 (FSA to<br />

FSG) / 02 (FSH and FSJ) and firmware V1.01.<br />

The FS code can be found on the rating plate of the converter.<br />
