Mr. Shahani who is a self-taught
artist takes pride in the fact that
he can connect so well the viewers
of his artistry, which is supreme.
He tries to share a part of himself
through his works. The message
he wants to share with the fellow
artists is, “Just be, create as an
expression, not as a career.” When
a person loves what they do, and
they enjoy it the outcome is always
beautiful. Mr. Shahani gives a strong
message and it's something we all
needed to hear.
Mr. Shahani's greatest inspiration
and the idol is Rodin. François
Auguste René Rodin was a French
sculptor generally considered the
founder of modern sculpture. Rodin
was an extraordinary creative
artist and a prolific worker. Rodin
possessed a unique ability to model
a complex, turbulent, and deeply
pocketed surface in clay. He is
known for such sculptures as The
Thinker, The Kiss, The Burghers of
Calais, and The Gates of Hell. Mr.
Shahani’s works reflect a lot of
Rodin’s artistry which shows how
greatly he idolizes him and tries to
