where the tiredness is caused by a lack
of care for yourself, for whatever reason.
It can also be caused by a vitamin
or mineral deficiency. Fatigue can also
be caused by many diseases, such as
arthritis, Parkinson, different types of
cancer, circulatory diseases, intestinal
diseases, etc. Tiredness can seem disabling,
and if the fatigue is caused by
a disease, then the root cause must be
treated.
Lacking Sleep
Sleep has a rejuvenating effect on the
brain and the entire nervous system.
Sleep’s influence on our health is well
documented.
Make sure you have an early bedtime.
Most people function optimally with 8
hours of sleep, where the hours before
midnight are the most important.
We all have a need to be part of the
social life once in the while, but everything
should be in moderation, and
make sure you exercise your self-discipline
both when it comes to food and
drinks, also when you are out to have a
good time. It is never pleasant to wake
up with a handover and it is not good
for your liver and brain either.
• Melatonin is the most important
antioxidant your body produces.
It holds importance for your hormone
levels, your energy, and joy
of life. To ensure you produce sufficient
melatonin, it is important
that you sleep in complete darkness
and experience sunlight during
the day. The balance between
light and dark is important for a
sufficient production of melatonin.
Melatonin is luckily also available
as a supplement in liquid or capsule
form.
• Vitamin-B is something many people
lack. It should be taken in the
morning.
• Vitamin-D can also be a great help.
• When it comes to minerals, then a
supplement of magnesium, calcium,
and silicon might do you good.
• Products containing hops and
valerian can be great supporters
and should, just like melatonin,
be taken in the evening.
Stress
Stress saps your energy. Too many people
are running in the highest gear all day,
every single day of the week. It takes a toll
on the body and can results in different
afflictions. If you are stressed, then stop
and force yourself to take some breaks,
so your body and brain can recharge.
There exists some good aids, which
can help you manage your stress.
• A complex of B-vitamins can be a
great help.
• D-vitamins has also been shown to
help with stress.
• Omega-3 oils can function as a stress
inhibitor.
• Likewise, can the minerals potassium,
calcium, magnesium, and zinc
help.
• Ashwagandha is a must have if you
feel stressed. Ashwagandha is an
ayurvedic herb that belongs to the
nightshade family.
• I personally use a product that I
find helps me exceptionally, in these
tiresome and trying times, which
is also accompanied by stress. The
product consists of Siberian ginseng
for increased mental and physical
performance, Astragalus that aids
my immune system and lessens
fatigue and exhaustion, and rose
root, which minimizes my stress
and functions as a pick-me-up both
mentally and physically.
Worries
Too many people keep worrying as an
essential part of their day. I am personally
also very good at worrying, but the
years have taught me to put some of
my worries behind me and get better
at enjoying the many wonders of daily
life. Worrying sucks all the power, joy,
and energy out of you, if you belong to
the worrying type. Remember that most
worries never become real!!! It could
perhaps be a good idea to get help from
a therapist, if you find it too difficult to
handle yourself.
Many worries revolve around whether
you are good enough. Can you handle
the job and are you good enough to
keep it. Are you sufficient as a family
dad/mom. Learn to relax, no is perfect.
We are all students at the school of life.
Be good to yourself. Look at yourself in
the mirror and tell yourself “I love you”.
It can be a difficult exercise, but once
you have done it enough, then you start
to feel the love and tolerance you have
for yourself and can be contributing
factor in bettering your days.
Dietary supplements can help, I will
recommend taking magnesium in the
evening. It can be particularly helpful if
your worries have a tendency to pop up
when you are going to bed. If you wake
up in the middle of the night and feel
your worries sneaking into your mind
and keeping you from sleep, then it
might be a good idea to take a strong
supplement of pantothenic acid.
It might be a good idea with
a relaxing herbal tea, just like products
containing lemon balm can
help resolve some of your worries.
The Diet
The diet is the fuel that has to get you
through the day. Make sure that you
have healthy dietary habits. Avoid sugary
foods, as well as white bread and pasta.
Stay away from cola and other energy
drinks as well as too much coffee. The
abovementioned will provide a lot of fast
