Shaun O’NEILL

Your Labour Candidate in

Healey, Syke, and Shawclough

After being postponed last May due

to Covid19, Local Council Elections

are back on Thursday 6th May 2021.

Polling Stations will be open from 7am - 10pm.

Shaun O’Neill has been re-selected to stand for Labour in Healey this coming May.

Shaun was born in Rochdale and attended Rochdale Technical School. He has lived

here all his life (apart from 5 years spent serving in the Royal Engineers in other parts

of the world). And spent 29 years working as a Firefighter here in Rochdale and has

lived with his family in Shawclough for the last 25 years.

Shaun says “It has been a privilege and a pleasure, representing local residents

here in Healey’ Syke and Shawclough, listening to their views and concerns and

then taking Action, is one of the most satisfying aspects of the job as your Local

Councillor. And Sometimes it’s the little things that can make a big difference”

Shaun’s Priorities for Healey

• Promote measures to prevent climate change

• Continue to improve road safety and more improvements

to our roads and footpaths

• Encourage more recycling

• Combat anti-social behaviour and continue to tackle littering

and fly-tipping

• Improve our green spaces including Healey Dell, St Wilfrid’s Fields

and Cronkeyshaw Common

• Hold weekly surgeries every Thursday at the Syke Chapel, 1pm-2pm.

Promoted by Tricia Ayrton on behalf of Shaun O’Neill of 15 Daffodil Close OL12 6NY.
