As a course designer and teacher, consider asking yourself four questions:

1. Is there any way to improve students’ success in the self-administered quizzes and

tests they take to check their progress?

2. What are the causes when most of students fail a particular quiz or test?

3. Are there any observable differences in the difficulty levels of quizzes and tests?

4. What supplementary resources should be added to help students improve their

quiz and/or test results?
