Exciting and Engaging...<br />
Y4<br />
Year 4 have been busy with sports day practice, creating slide shows for a presentation<br />
and also working on the difficult concept of time.<br />
Our presentations have been based on delivering information to an audience, whilst<br />
building our skill-set with adding animations, transitions and sharing our work collaboratively.<br />
We kept our slides to a minimum amount of information so that we could<br />
use it as prompts for our discussion, and ensuring we engaged the audience with<br />
eye-contact.<br />
Our time unit has been a challenging one. But we are getting more confident at telling<br />
the time to the nearest minute for ‘past’ and ‘to’ the hour. We have related time to<br />
number bonds to 60. If children are able to add 2 numbers that equal 60, then telling<br />
the time will be a breeze.
