October 14th is the “”Double Ninth Festival”” in the traditional Chinese festival according to Lunar calendar. In the<br />
autumn scenery of the homeland, you can climb mountains, appreciate the autumn flowers and respect the elderly.<br />
This is the theme of the Double Ninth Festival. Under the Covid-19 pandemic, the Chinese people in Australia are<br />
even more missing their loved ones, especially during the lockdown periods. Poetry expresses aspirations and<br />
recites sentiments. In this Chinese poetry night, let us enjoy the beauty of poetry and express our emotions with<br />
voice. Firm our faith and pray for peace!<br />
Australian Chinese Writers Festival and The Art of Voice Melbourne Australia will co-organize this recitation event<br />
with Whitehorse Manningham Libraries.<br />
