Wednesday September 15 2021 Selwyn Times Fresh snow welcomed skiers back to the district’s skifields on the first day of level 2 on Wednesday last week. It was a glorious day with the sun shining, before strong winds ramped up later in the week. Skifields around the country, including Selwyn’s six club and commercial fields, have had a tough year with Covid-19 lockdown and level 3 restrictions keeping them closed for three weeks in peak season.
