issued a summons for assault with<br />

a dangerous weapon and threatening<br />

to commit a crime.<br />

p.m. Tuesday at Ahepa Penelope<br />

No. 120 at 98 Central St. A caller<br />

reported his mother and her caretaker<br />

were physically fighting in<br />

an apartment. The caller said his<br />

mother was on the ground and<br />

the caretaker was pulling her<br />

hair. The caretaker, a 47-year-old<br />

woman, was placed in custody<br />

(see arrests).<br />

Breaking and Entering<br />

A report of a breaking and entering<br />

at 7:41 p.m. Tuesday at 18<br />

Greenwood Road. A caller reported<br />

an ex-tenant broke into the home.<br />

Fire<br />

A report of a dumpster fire at<br />

6:58 p.m. Tuesday at 9 Esquire<br />

Circle. It was extinguished by the<br />

fire department.<br />

Vandalism<br />

A report of vandalism at 9:51<br />

a.m. Tuesday at 4 Overlea Ave. A<br />

caller reported vandalism to his<br />

yard and car. Police reported there<br />

were hot dogs in the shape of a<br />

cross placed on the driver’s side<br />

door handle of the caller’s car and<br />

his girlfriend’s car. Both vehicles<br />

were parked in the driveway at the<br />

time.<br />

At 1:42 p.m. Tuesday, a caller<br />

reported she was witnessing three<br />

juveniles vandalizing the picnic<br />

table at Connolly Park on Dark<br />

Lane. DPW was asked to pick up<br />

the broken table.<br />

Vandalism was reported at 6:26<br />

p.m. Tuesday at Welch School at 50<br />

Swampscott Ave. A caller reported<br />

several juveniles were destroying<br />

property on school grounds. Police<br />

reported the call was unfounded.<br />

on a warrant at 9:43 a.m.<br />

Road, was arrested and charged<br />

with OUI-liquor and marked lanes<br />

violation at 4:42 p.m. Wednesday.<br />

Michael Silva, 47, of 3<br />

Newcastle Road, was arrested and<br />

charged with speeding and on a<br />

warrant at 11:06 p.m. Wednesday.<br />
