Deceuninck’s Heritage Flush door has been
nominated for Best New Product at the G21 Awards
“In 2015, we didn’t have a single foiling
line – we now have six, each dedicated to a
specific product type,” explains Rob. “We are
able to replenish our stock levels, rather than
manufacture to a just in time model, it’s a huge
advantage for our customers.
“For some, foiled product now represents as
much as 60% of their total output – that includes
sales of our flush Heritage Flush window, but also
our Heritage Flush door offer.”

Awards, Deceuninck’s Heritage Flush door
presents installers with an exciting opportunity
to further capitalise on demand for higher-value
products at point of sale.
Integrating into the same 2800 profile suite as
the Heritage Flush window and sharing design
elements such as the external sash seal and
frame infill, it has been designed to be offered as
a high-quality stand-alone patio door or as part of
a suited package.
The result of considerable R&D by Deceuninck,
it offers a dedicated PAS24 approved hardware
system, including a traditional butt hinge, 3D
adjustment with integrated dog-bolt and weather
seal, a three-hook lock with tamper proof
gearbox, an integrated bottom shoot-bolt and two
top-bolt sizes.
Additional USPs include a non-handed adjustable
keep, adjustable shoot-bolt keeps for single,
double and low threshold doors, a non-handed
double arm restrictor for single and double doors
and market leading weather performance.
With a doorset energy rating of ‘A’, it has been
designed to achieve U-values as low as 1.3 W/
m 2 K when specified with double glazing and 1.0
W/m 2 K with triple – importantly, well inside the
much-anticipated changes to Part L that are
expected to increase the minimum standard of
replacement doors to 1.4 W/m 2 K.
“Our customers have enjoyed a lot of success
with our Heritage Flush door,” says Rob. “Again,
as with our Heritage Flush window, a lot of that
success can be attributed to the fact that it
mirrors the aesthetics of a timber door, but with
a grey foil – or even with our patented Decoroc
colour coating system – it makes a highly
compelling alternative to aluminium.
“We know that homeowners are increasingly
attracted to flush casements, whatever the style
or age of their property,” concludes Rob. “For
installers, there’s a huge opportunity to take
further advantage of that by presenting them with
our Heritage Flush door.
