I have noticed that a few scened in "The Black Hole" I remember seeing in
the theatre have been cut from what is shown on The Disney Channel. There
was a scene where the telepathic woman gets something in her eye, and
Maxamillian has to take it out. And there may have been a cut in the scene
where Max shreds his way though the book in to ...er...the "Phsycho" actor.
Are these scenes present on the CED release?
Chris White Emailed me and wrote.....
Well I'm not blind and I do see pixels changing on the in store demo....
This could be due to Quantization or Concatenation... Anyway.... DVD is
here to stay... The technology behind it is really neat.... I may... MAY.....
end up adding this piece of technology to my home entertainment system
yet.... Despite all the bad things I've said about it... The discs are smaller
than Laserdisc and there are a lot of really neat movies out on DVD right
now.... My favorite being "Rock And Roll High School" with the
Ramones..... I was amazed to see this out on DVD....
However one drawback I saw recently at a Best Buy in Illinois was a
disk skipping and locking up.... So, obviously DVD still has this problem to
a degree.... All Video disc media still can't solve the skipping or lock up
problem... Hopefully they can correct this....
Later,
Here is my complete list of CED's. I am asking $5 for most of the discs
and the others are priced as marked. The ones marked NFS are not for sale
at this time. Shipping costs are $2 for the first disc and $1 each after
